Helping at Home

Working alongside parents is really important to us. We hope you will find the information here helpful. If you want us to provide any other information then do let us know.

These pages are to help you to help your child.

Our experience of working with hundreds of families shows that the more interested and involved you are in your child’s education the more progress your child will make.

That is why every week the class teacher sends home a 'learning at home' letter. This explains what your child will be learning in the coming week in english and maths as well as other subjects. It gives advice on what you can do to help at home and some of the activites you can do together.

There are lots of free resources and great advice on the website below

Schools change constantly and some methods of teaching or approaches to learning may be different to your own experiences of school. If you have any concerns or questions, however small, do not hesitate to speak to the class teacher.
